Our Team

Tinbite Elias graduated from the University of Redlands with majors in International Relations and Public Policy, as well as a minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Her undergraduate academic focus has been United States foreign policy via-a-vis the Middle East particularly historical and political context of state-building, democratization and societal factors.

Prior to her role as Editorial Associate with Horn Review, Tinbite worked as a communications consultant at UNESCO IICBA.

Tinbite made a professional shift towards Ethiopian development policy, with a focus on human movement patterns. Her career interests include GIS aided study of migration patterns of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) to develop effective response mechanisms.
